Before publishing “Delivering Change”, the document went through a process of formal consultation, where we spoke to lots of different people and asked them what they thought about it. The report from that process, “Consultation: Summary of Responses” is also available on the right of this page.

If you would like printed copies of any of these documents, please contact us using the details at the bottom of this page.

What, When, Who?

“Delivering Change” is a new plan for Rhondda Cynon Taf. For the first time, organisations working in the County Borough have come together to produce one plan representing their joint vision, priorities and actions.

The plan is led by the Local Service Board, which represents the partner organisations of the area. Its members include the Chief Executive and Leader of Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough Council; the Chair and Chief Executive of Cwm Taf Health Board; South Wales Police; the Chair of Interlink (the County Voluntary Council); and a representative from Welsh Government.

“Delivering Change” replaces separate plans published before, such as the Community Strategy; the Children and Young People's Plan; the Community Safety Plan; the Health, Social Care and Well-being Strategy and the Local Housing Strategy.

What’s it got to do with me?

Through consultation you have told us that improving health, safety and prosperity are the three key issues for people living, working or visiting Rhondda Cynon Taf. “Delivering Change” helps Rhondda Cynon Taf Council, the Local Health Board, South Wales Police and the Voluntary Organisations make improvements in these areas over the next three years.

The work will focus on what really matters to you and this includes supporting new businesses in Rhondda Cynon Taf, tackling anti-social behaviour, encouraging people to be fit and healthy and much more. You can see the other actions by downloading "Delivering Change".

How can I get involved?

The range of events, surveys, forums and groups that are linked to the Council, Local Health Board, South Wales Police and the voluntary sector, are all ways for you to get involved in “Delivering Change”. Visit www.cwmtafhub.co.uk to find out more.

If you have a comment or question about the Plan, please contact us. We are also committed to reviewing and refreshing “Delivering Change” every year and want to hear what you think we need to focus on or improve.
