David Spencer - HR Policy and Development Officer

Worked for Ystrad Mynach College and Coleg y Cymoedd previously, starting in Finance and making the move over to HR (the dark side!) 12 years spent working in the HR department, dealing with staff and managers to provide a comprehensive and supportive HR service. I was the organisational lead for staff health and well-being for the past 5 years, achieving Gold and Platinum Levels of the Corporate Health Standard and also worked with Time to Change Wales to make Coleg y Cymoedd the first FE College in Wales to sign their organisational pledge to reduce mental health stigma.

I’ve always been passionate about helping people, and I feel that this project will enable me to do that and make a difference to individuals and businesses in RCT.
