The Council is delighted to announce that the Vision Mobility store in Pontyclun has now re-opened their doors to customers following the Welsh Government’s easing of COVID-19 restrictions.

Staff have been working hard behind the scenes to get the store ready to re-open safely with social distancing in place. Visitors are now able to pop into the store and meet the staff and view the wide range of mobility products on display. No prior appointment is needed.

Councillor Geraint Hopkins, Rhondda Cynon Taf Council Cabinet Member for Adult Services and Welsh Language, said: “The re-opening of the Vision Mobility store to the public is a huge step forward as the County Borough and the whole of Wales continues to adapt to a new way of living.

“It has always been a main priority of this Council to allow its residents to live independently in their own homes for as long as possible, often with the professional help and support of our Community Services teams.

“The Vision Mobility store is also able to sell such items as mobility scooters, walking and bathroom aids, specialist beds and so much more in order for people to live at home.”

Vision Mobility in Pontyclun is open daily (Monday to Friday) from 10am until 4pm. If you would prefer to make a prior appointment to visit, or to order or discuss products, please call 01443 229988.
