February Half Term is nearly upon us!
Luckily, there’s lots going on all over the county borough during the holiday - even if the weather is cold and wet.
To help you plan your family days, we’ve put together a list of all our great activities taking place all around – from cinema listings, to library activities, to walking days out – we’ve got you covered in RCT!
Rhondda Heritage Park
We are famed the world over for our mining industry and Rhondda Heritage Park is a living monument to that. Our Black Gold Experience is BRAND NEW for 2017 and gives you the chance to experience what life as a miner was like, guided through the experience by men who once worked at the pit head themselves.
Rhondda Heritage Park is also home to the beautiful Caffi Bracchi, serving hot and cold snacks, meals and a range of refreshments, a gallery which is currently hosting the free Land of Bards and Singers exhibition.
FREE Leisure access
Our Leisure Centres are once again offering a programme of free activities, including swimming lessons, swimming, water polo, aqua scooters, rookie lifeguards, snorkelling, inflatable, indoor sports such as badminton and squash and more.
Not all activities are available at all leisure centres. Please visit your local/preferred leisure centre for full details of what's on and how to get involved. You can also search for and like your local leisure centre on Facebook.
Enjoy the Big Screen.
