Award-winning singer and actress Barbara Dickson is coming to Rhondda Cynon Taf this weekend as part of her UK tour.
One of Scotland's most successful singers, Barbara Dickson, and acclaimed pianist Nick Holland, perform a special acoustic set exploring her vast catalogue of songs at an intimate level at the Council’s Park & Dare Theatre.
The pair let the words and melodies take 'centre stage' as they perform a breathtaking range of material drawing on her folk roots, contemporary greats and some of her classic hits.
Cllr Ann Crimmings, Cabinet Member for Environment and Leisure, said: “The Council is delighted to welcome a performer of Barbara Dickson’s calibre to one of its theatres - a testament that our venues attract the best in the entertainment world.
“Barbara Dickson has been a household name for more than 40 years, recording countless songs which have gone on to become a part of musical history, and her voice is as strong as ever.
