Take a trip back in time and reflect on those wonderful days of motoring along the open roads.
A Classic Car Show is being held at Rhondda Heritage Park, the Welsh Mining Experience, on Saturday, June 17, featuring over 60 motor vehicles.
In partnership with Glamorgan Classic Car Club, the Council is delighted to host this event at its family tourist attraction as a pre-treat for Father’s Day, which is the following day.
Cllr Ann Crimmings, Cabinet Member for Environment and Leisure, said: “Events such as this help to attract even more people to what is already a very popular attraction.
“Rhondda Heritage Park, the Welsh Mining Experience, attracts visitors from all over the world, who all enjoy a unique experience at an authentic coal mine in the heart of the South Wales Valleys.
“We hope that visitors to the Classic Car Show will also spend extra time with us and perhaps book their place on our Black Gold Experience, which tells the amazing history of coal and coal-mining.”
