Taff's Well is situated just north of the main commercial centre of Taff's Well and lies adjacent to Cardiff Road and the eastern bank of the River Taff.

History

Taff's Well Park was first formally recognised as a recreation ground on the Ordnance Survey map of 1942 and it is considered the park first opened to the public during the 1930’s.

The park has a children’s play area, bowling green, bowls pavilion, seating areas, tennis courts, landscaped areas, kick about area and toilets, but it also has a unique feature in the Taff's Well Thermal Spring located on the eastern perimeter of the park, forming part of the embankment to the River Taff.

The Thermal Spring and the surrounding structure is a Grade II listed building.

The tennis courts were upgraded during the 2012/2013 season and the new courts have been very successful, resulting in a new tennis club being formed.
