Music fans of all ages flocked to the Welsh Mining Experience, Rhondda Heritage Park, over the August Bank Holiday weekend, for Tribute in the Park.
Chart-topping songs from the likes of Take That, Beyonce, Little Mix and Lady GaGa had the audience singing along and dancing at the former Lewis Merthyr Colliery.
Tribute acts on the day included In The Mix, performing such hits as Wings, Shout out to my Ex, Salute, Black Magic and DNA; Donna Marie as Lady GaGa, famous for such hits as Applause, the Edge of Glory, Born This Way and Paparazzi; Leanne Green as Beyonce, with such hits as If I Was A Boy, Crazy In Love and Single Ladies; and Take @ That, featuring all of the hits of the ‘ultimate boy band’ Take That.
Cllr Ann Crimmings, Cabinet Member for Environment and Leisure, said: “The Welsh Mining Experience is normally filled with laughter and excitement as visitors from all over the world enjoy the sights and sounds of a bygone age, but on this occasion it was filled with music and plenty of singing.
“The audience had an amazing time at Tribute in the Park and I would like to thank everyone for joining us and for making it a magical festival atmosphere.”
