Martyn Ham of Mountain Ash RFC

Martyn, along with two colleagues, founded the club’s junior section just over 22 years ago. The section, with Martyn’s support has developed over the years. It now has its own management committee with over 200 playing members. Apart from Martyn’s involvement with the junior section he has also been the club’s fixture secretary since 1994 and has also represented the club at Mid District Rugby Union and the Rhondda and East Glamorgan Rugby Union. Martyn was made a life member of the club in 2009 in recognition of his long service to the club
