The Council is required to prepare an annual 'Statement of Accounts' detailing all of its financial activities during the year. The statement is prepared in accordance with a statutory framework, and provides information on, the cost of services provided by the Council, the sources of finance to provide these services and the value of the Councils assets and liabilities at year-end.
