Improvement Planning 2012/13
The Council’s Improvement Priorities and the detailed plans for their delivery are contained in the Council’s 2012/13 Corporate Plan. Our work in these priority areas will continue to deliver improvements and make a difference to the lives of the people that live and work in Rhondda Cynon Taf. The Council’s eight priority areas are:
Medium Term Service Planning
Enforcement and Regulation
Regeneration of all our Communities
Better Customer Contact
The eight Improvement Priorities for 2012-13 and the detailed delivery plans were agreed by the Council at its meeting on 4 July 2012
A more user friendly summary of the 2012/13 Improvement Priorities is contained within the July edition of the Council's newspaper “Outlook” (Page 10).
The Council’s Corporate Plan constitutes the Council’s Forward Looking plan as required by Part 1, Section 15 of the Local Government (Wales) Measure 2009
In accordance with the Council's Welsh Language Scheme 2009, as approved by the Welsh Language Board, this plan is deemed to be a technical document of limited public interest and has therefore been produced in English. A Welsh version, however, can be made available on request.
The Annual Delivery Report was approved by Council on 17th October. The full report can be viewed here. The Plan contains a huge amount of information and is mainly aimed at people requiring in-depth knowledge of the Council, such as our partner organisations and staff. A more user-friendly public summary can be viewed here. The summary will also be included in the next edition of our Outlook newspaper, which will be sent to all homes in Rhondda Cynon Taf.
A more user friendly summary of the 2011/12 Improvement Priorities is contained within the November edition of the Council's newspaper "Outlook" (Pages 12-13).
The 2011/12 Annual Delivery Report explains what the Council has done to get value for money and deliver visible benefits to local people. It shows how our services have performed during the previous year, and sets out our priorities and targets for the future. Every Council in Wales publishes an Annual Delivery Report each year as part of the Wales Programme for Improvement.
