E3+ programme - Community Focused Schools

SFYP logoRhondda Cynon Taf’s comprehensive e3+ programme is unique in Wales, offering a pioneering approach to the provision of after school activities. 

 E3+stands for ‘Extend, Enrich, Excite’ offering young people and communities the chance to spend time outside of the school day in safe and secure settings, with access to a wide range of free, exciting, fulfilling activities. It aims to offer new experiences, skills and qualifications which will raise aspiration and broaden horizons.

SFYP-arrowsThere are 12 e3+ Coordinators based in the 12 English Medium Schools across RCT. The e3+ Coordinators role is to consult with young people to find out what they want, for example, the type of activities offered, the time of activities and the day in which the activity will be delivered.
