The Duke of Edinburgh's Award (DofE) is a well-established youth development programme that offers programmes at three levels – Gold, Silver and Bronze – for those aged 14 to 25.
Rhondda Cynon Taf has been an Operating Authority of the DofE for over 40 years and has some 1,000 young people who are benefiting from the challenging, enriching experiences it offers.
Those who have secured the Award at any of the three levels have taken part in volunteering, learnt new skills, physical activities, adventurous expeditions and residential projects both in this country and overseas.
For more information on The DofE and how you can get involved, contact your Headteacher, local youth workers or youth centre.
