It’s time to tee off for charity once again - as the popular Mayor’s Golf Tournament is back.
Following the success of the past few years, Mayor Cllr Sylvia Jones has once again teamed up with Aberdare Golf Course to offer a day of golfing, competition, fun - and charity fundraising.
Taking place at Aberdare Golf Course on Friday April 20th, the day will once again be in aid of the Mayor’s Charity Appeal this year supporting ,Viva Wales; RCT Crossroads; Rhondda Powerhouse Trust, Llwynypia; Mid Rhondda Operatic society; GTFM Community Radio (Taff Ely); Colstars Youth Theatre (Cynon Valley).
Format for the day:

Paris competitions best stableford score to count on each hole

Refreshments at the half way house

Two course meal following the round of golf

Prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd pairs

Additional prizes for the longest drive and nearest pin

Full handicap will apply (maximum shot allowance 21)

The cost for the day is £80 per pair and includes all of the above.
