the misuse of substances such as:
alcohol;
volatile substances (such as aerosols and glue);
prescribed and over the counter medication;
and illegal drugs.
Often, we work in partnership with other local or national substance misuse services, offered by healthcare providers, a range of voluntary sector and independent agencies and community groups.
Substance misuse can affect people of all ages, their families and the communities in which they live.
Our Substance Misuse Team offers a friendly, confidential service to people with drug and alcohol related problems. The Team is based in our Principal Office in Aberdare and works across the whole of Rhondda Cynon Taf. The service is available to anyone over 18 years of age.
