                                *PLEASE NOTE*

From Tuesday, January 3, 2012, the main front entrance to Aberdare Library will be temporarily closed due to regeneration work taking place in the town. Access will be via the rear of the building and the library will be open as usual. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

• Aberdare Reference Library is a designated Welsh Assembly link library and a European Public Library Information Centre. 

 

Special Feature

 
Aberdare Library has a separate reference and local studies library. Its collections cover the Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough with Aberdare Library specialising on the Cynon Valley. The collection contains books, newspapers, periodicals, maps, plans, directories, illustrations and ephemera. Census returns and Electoral Registers are amongst the many records available for people researching their family history.
