We also have four mobile libraries to serve communities that don’t have a library building.

Don’t Stand By: Help us mark Holocaust Memorial Day 2016 

Rhondda Cynon Taf Council in Partnership with South Wales Police will be presenting an event to commemorate Holocaust Memorial Day 2016 at The Parc &Dare Theatre, Treorchy on Thursday 28th January 2016. 

The library service is looking for local writers to submit poems on the theme of ‘Don’t Stand By’ for display and possible performance on the day. Holocaust Memorial Day commemorates The Holocaust & Nazi Persecution and other genocide atrocities in Cambodia, Rwanda, Bosnia and Dafur, more information on these atrocities and on the HMD foundation can be found at

Fax messages can be sent from and received at Aberdare , Pontypridd and Treorchy Libraries. Please ask a member of staff for assistance.
