Rhondda Cynon Taf Library Service has 13 libraries including three main libraries at Aberdare, Pontypridd and Treorchy.
We also have four mobile libraries to serve communities that don’t have a library building.

August Bank Holiday
All libraries will be closed on Monday 31st August, reopened as normal on Tuesday 1st September.
2015 RCT Libraries Anthology.
Once again, all people who live, work or study in Rhondda Cynon Taf are being invited to submit creative pieces for inclusion in the 2015 Anthology.
There is no restriction on the subject matter, or the number of entries, although short stories should be no longer than 2,000 words, and we are happy to receive them written in either Welsh or English.
People who wish to submit entries can do so by e-mailing them to:
