Peter Karrie as The Phantom Of The Opera
A spectacular concert has been organised to mark Rhondda Cynon Taf Council’s hosting of the Olympic Torch Relay – starring a performer named the world’s favourite Phantom!
Peter Karrie has starred in some of the best-loved musicals on stages all over the world, including Chess, Evita and Les Miserables, but is most renowned as The Phantom in Lord Lloyd Webbers The Phantom of the Opera.
He is bringing his formidable talent to Hawthorn Leisure Centre on Saturday, May 26 as part of a musical extravaganza organised by Making Music in Wales to celebrate the passing of the torch.
Beginning at 7.30pm, the event will also include The Richard Williams Singers, Cor Ysgol Gyfun Y Cymer, Porth County Community School, Symphonic Brass Wales and Jugendsinfonieorchester and Oberschwaben Symphonic Brass Ravensburg.
