Planning & Development Committee Hybrid Meetings - Public Participation Guidance

When contacting the Planning Department with your request to address the Committee, you must provide your full name, contact number, the Application Number upon which you wish to speak on and advise which of the following options you will be utilising:

1. Joining a Zoom meeting

You are able to request to join the hybrid meeting via the Zoom conference app to address Committee directly. Following confirmation of your request an officer from the Council will contact you via email or telephone to provide you with the necessary meeting details. On joining the meeting you will have up to 5 minutes to address the Committee in respect of the relevant application. 

The meeting ID and password must not be shared with anyone else. Only one person will be able to participate with these details and sharing these details may result in you being unable to join the meeting.

2. Attending the Council Chamber 

You are able to request to attend the hybrid meeting in-person, via the Council Chamber to address Committee directly. Following confirmation of your request, an officer from the Council will contact you via email or telephone to provide you with the necessary meeting details. On joining the meeting, you will have 5 minutes to address the Committee in respect of the relevant application.

Please also note that, should you choose either option, you are consenting to be included in the recording of the meeting for publication on the Council website. The meeting recording will capture images and sound of you and all other participants within the meeting.
