As part of the Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough Council’s Community Safety Partnership Delivery Plan. The Local Authority is currently consulting with partners and reviewing the Business Crime Reduction Strategy’s for Aberdare and Pontypridd Town Centres. To reduce the impact of crime and anti-social behaviour on Businesses and to provide assurance and security to people visiting both of the Town Centres.
As part of this review the Community Safety Partnership Is calling on Town Centre Businesses to become members of the Council’s Radio Net System, which will provide the following benefit's to your Business and Staff:
• Direct link into the Council’s CCTV Team
• Direct link to other Businesses in the scheme
• Direct link with Police
• Emergency Panic button
• Able to quickly share information to Police and other Businesses regarding shop crime and ASB
• Able to quickly confirm details around individuals
