Communities for Work Plus (CfW+) offers support to all residents in RCT who are looking to get into employment, training or volunteering.

We are also able to offer in-work support to those on low incomes who are looking to retrain or up-skill.

CfW+ is available across the whole of RCT and is split into 4 delivery areas

  • Rhondda North (covers the Rhondda Fawr and Mid Rhondda areas, including Trealaw)
  • Rhondda South (covers the Rhondda Fach, Porth, Tonyrefail and Gilfach Goch)
  • Cynon (covers the Cynon Valley, Glyncoch and Ynysybwl)
  • Taf (covers Rhydyfelin and Hawthorn, Pontypridd, Church Village and Llantrisant areas)

Each delivery area has its own community office and team who deliver the programme.

There are 3 main pillars to our work:

Health-wellbeing
We have highly skilled staff who are able to support individuals on a one-to-one basis.
Communities-First
Participants can access a broad range of activities that run on a regular basis. These include Community based Work Clubs & Adult learning courses.
