The Council is hosting a series of public engagement sessions to inform residents and businesses about proposals to improve walking and cycling (active travel) provision in the Rhondda Fach.

The Council secured Active Travel funding from the Welsh Government earlier this year, and has been working with Sustrans to undertake a feasibility exercise to identify suitable routes and links between Maerdy and Stanleytown.

We are very keen to know what people think about the proposed improvements and we are therefore asking many individuals, groups and organisations for their views. To take part in the consultation, you can attend one of the engagement sessions outlined below, alternatively, view the proposed plans and let us know your feedback by e-mailing it to transportstrategy@rctcbc.gov.uk
