Due to its overwhelming success last year, The National Lido of Wales, Lido Ponty, will once again open on December 26 for its annual Boxing Day Swim.
All sessions are now full
This will be the final opportunity of the year to swim at the Council’s family tourist attraction, which has welcomed more than 170,000 visitors since opening in August 2015.
Cllr Ann Crimmings, Cabinet Member for Environment and Leisure, with responsibility for visitor attractions, said: “Having had yet another amazing summer season, the National Lido of Wales, Lido Ponty, is opening for a Boxing Day Swim.
“Celebrate the festive season with a swim in the great outdoors. It is invigorating and great fun. There is no atmosphere quite like the Boxing Day Swim at the National Lido of Wales.”
