The Council is out and about in the communities of Rhondda Cynon Taf throughout August and September to talk to residents about a wide range of topics.
Officers will be on hand providing feedback on the Council’s Budget Consultation, undertaken earlier this year. Staff will also be highlighting where budget investment has taken place and is earmarked for the future.
From the exciting 21st Century Schools programme, which is delivering state-of-the-art education facilities for our future generations across the County Borough, to the major investment in leisure facilities, 3G pitches and play areas, the Council is delivering major improvements for residents and communities in Rhondda Cynon Taf.
Do you care about where you live in the County Borough? The Council is also currently recruiting new members to its Citizens’ Panel, made up of local residents who are consulted on key service changes and Council decisions.
The Summer Conversation Engagement Events are also the perfect place to sign up to be a part of the new and exciting Citizens’ Panel.
Council Deputy Leader, Councillor Maureen Webber, who also holds responsibility for Council Business, said: “It is important that as many people as possible come along to our Summer Conversation Engagement Events. This is the ideal opportunity to come and talk to us in person.
“Residents have already seen so much being delivered in our key priority areas such as highways, play areas, leisure facilities and town centres through the Council’s ongoing RCTinvest programme. This substantial investment is benefiting residents, local businesses and visitors to our County Borough.
“I urge as many residents as possible to come along to our Summer Conversation Engagement Events to share your views and input with us. Together, we are making a big difference in Rhondda Cynon Taf.”
