Halloween Spooktacular events for younger visitors take place at the Welsh Mining Experience this month.
The Welsh Mining Experience, the Council’s extremely popular family tourist attraction and home to Dram: The Cinematic Experience, is set to be transformed for a limited period only - and is a must for families with young children.
Halloween Spooktacular, which takes place on October 29-31, features all of the traditional events associated with Halloween, including Pumpkin Carving, a Pumpkin Hunt, Face Painting, Arts and Crafts and a special Halloween Show, exclusive to the Welsh Mining Experience.
Have great fun with your little ones making Halloween masks and join them on the Pumpkin Hunt. Get your hands dirty and join in the Pumpkin Carving as you create many scary faces.
Also join in the arts and crafts activities, in conjunction with Craft of Hearts, and take home your Halloween keepsakes, and enjoy the Halloween Show, starring popular childrens’ entertainer Chunky Russell.
Cllr Ann Crimmings, Cabinet Member for Environment, Leisure and Heritage Services, said: “Halloween Spooktacular at the Welsh Mining Experience is always popular with young visitors to our family tourist attraction. It is great fun for all the family, with lots of activities on offer over the three days.
“Visitors will also be able to book their festive trip to Santa’s Toy Mine, another incredibly popular event at the Welsh Mining Experience, which sees the attraction turned into a unique festive experience, as well as take in the sights and sounds of all the regular attractions.”
