Calling all quiz fans - still time to get your teams together, get your thinking caps on and help raise money for the Mayor’s Charity Appeal.

Mayor of Rhondda Cynon Taf, Cllr Steve Powderhill, is hosting a Charity Quiz Night at Pontypridd RFC, Sardis Road, Pontypridd, on Friday, March, 22, and now is the time to register teams of up to six people.

The quizmaster will be Ian Cooper, with all questions based upon general knowledge. Teams are asked to arrive at the venue by 6.45pm, with the quiz getting underway at 7pm prompt.

All money raised on the night will go to the Mayor’s Charity Appeal, which this year is supporting Giving To Pink, Welsh Hearts and Velindre Hospital, as well as children living with diabetes within Rhondda Cynon Taf.

Mayor of Rhondda Cynon Taf, Cllr Steve Powderhill, said: “I’d like everyone to help me to make this night a great success as we do all we can to help so many worthy causes in our County Borough.

“The Mayor’s Quiz Night is always a popular event as it provides the perfect opportunity to have great fun while also raising money for charity at the same time.

“Get your friends, family or work colleagues together to create a team-of-six and come along and join us.”

The Mayor’s Charity Quiz Night takes place at Pontypridd RFC, Sardis Road, Pontypridd, on Friday, March 22 (7pm). Tickets are priced £5 per person with a maximum of 6 people per team, which includes a buffet. To register a team call 01443 424048 or email mayor@rctcbc.gov.uk
