It is the perfect place for families to enjoy a great day out, for dedicated swimmers and social swimmers and also for children who enjoy aquatic antics in the open-air, whatever the weather, within safe and historic surroundings.

The National Lido of Wales, Lido Ponty, originally opened to the public in 1927 and sadly fell into a state of disrepair before closing.

The £6.3m Grade II listed outdoor family water attraction was officially re-opened on July 6, 2016, by His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales and Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cornwall.

Other attractions at the National Lido of Wales, include the Lido Ponty Public Exhibition, The Waterside Café and Lido Play, the childrens’ adventure park, which captures the imagination of younger visitors as they explore the swings, slides and tunnels in this locally-themed attraction celebrating our proud industrial past.
