Rhondda Cynon Taf Mayor, Councillor Steve Powderhill, has fundraising down to a tee!
He is hosting the 2019 Mayor’s Charity Golf Day at Pontypridd Golf Club on Friday, May 10 – and there is still time to enter a team of four. The event starts at 11am. All players need a maximum handicap of 20 to apply.
Rhondda Cynon Taf Mayor, Councillor Steve Powderhill, said: “I am looking forward to this event. I have had fantastic support from the public during my year in Office and have met some wonderful individuals and organisations along the way.
“All proceeds raised will go to my Mayor’s Charity Appeal, which this year has been supporting Giving To Pink, Welsh Hearts and Velindre Hospital, as well as giving his support to children living with diabetes within Rhondda Cynon Taf.”
Pontypridd Golf Club, which opened over 100 years ago, is set within the beautiful Welsh hillside, with spectacular panoramic views and idyllic surroundings that are secluded and tranquil, offering a course that attracts all standards of golfer.
Entry is £80 for a team of four players, to include post-event buffet meal.
