The Council is developing a network of voluntary support across the County Borough, working with third sector partners, to support some of the most vulnerable people in our communities during this unprecedented situation.

We will take every precaution necessary to avoid circumstances where the virus can be passed on, practicing social distancing measures, to safeguard the public health of volunteers and vulnerable residents being supported. Volunteering activities will strictly comply with the up-to-date public health instructions advised by the Government.

Due to the tremendous response to our request for volunteers, we are not looking for any more  Community Resilience volunteers at this present time. Read More
