Parking will be reduced or even FREE in town centres as new charges come into force across Rhondda Cynon Taf on April 1st 2017.

Visitors and residents will be able to either park for FREE, or for just 50p, or just £2 ALL DAY during weekdays. In addition, the cost of all day parking on a Saturday is now only £1 (long stay car parks) 

From April 1st you can park for FREE in ALL Council owned or maintained car parks in;

  • Porth
  • Tonypandy
  • Mountain Ash

There will also be significantly reduced parking charging arrangements in;

  • Aberdare
  • Pontypridd

These new charges are detailed below and are the result of a six-week public consultation in a bid to boost the local high street economy.

Blue Badge holders will continue to be able to access free parking in all Council managed car parks in designated disabled parking bays.
