Spinning is a vigorous class using stationary bikes which focuses on strength, endurance, intervals and recovery.
Instructor led, the class burns calories and builds muscle. It is a fast and ever-changing class, with good use of language, motivation and visualisation from the instructor.
Generally aimed at ages 16+ this is a high impact class so please check with us if you are returning to exercise after a period of rest, or trying exercise for the first time.
What will an Spinning class do for me?
It will help increase cardiovascular health, while also building muscle and toning and sculpting your legs and abdomen. Because spinning keeps the pressure off of your feet and knees, it is low-impact and perfect for those recovering from injury who want to build back strength.
How long is an Spinning class?
Classes range from 45-60 mins.
How often should I attend and what should I wear?
Even just attending one Spinning class a week is an effective exercise. Depending on your exercise timetable and recovery rate, you may wish to attend more often. Comfortable workout clothes and a bottle of water is a must. You may also want to invest in padded cycle shorts.
