Sport RCT Club Accreditation
Sport RCT Accreditation Scheme allows us to not only support clubs and organisations to become stronger and offer more opportunities but also helps communities to identify which clubs offer the best environment and experiences to take part in sport and physical activity across Rhondda Cynon Taf. We work with accredited clubs to ensure they operate to a set of agreed minimum standards and provide a safe and enjoyable environment for its members.
insport accreditation
In addition to working towards Sport RCT Safe Sport, clubs are encouraged to complete insport.
insport is a 4 stage award programme, (Ribbon, Bronze, Silver, Gold) designed to ease your club into inclusion, and support you through the process of opening your sport up to disabled people, in terms of participation, coaching and volunteering. You will be supported through each stage by your Community Sport Officer or Disability Sport Officer.
On successful completion of each stage, you will be awarded the insport mark relevant to the level achieved, which you are free to use on publications, websites and other materials to advertise and demonstrate your commitment to inclusion.
National Governing Body Accreditation
Most National Governing Bodies have their own Accreditation scheme. These accreditation processes will be specific to your sport and will safeguard your members. Sport RCT would advise that you work with your NGB to achieve this accreditation.
