"The Life of Caradog Exhibition" celebrating the life and achievements of Griffith Rees Jones (1834 – 1897), 150 years after the Y Cor Mawr victory at Crystal Palace Competition, 1872 – 73.
The Welsh conductor, who became known as ‘Caradog’, achieved great successes, and became nationally and internationally renowned. Caradog’s legacy can still be felt to this date and as such Wales is still regarded as “The Land of Song”
