The two bowling greens in the park were officially opened in 1924 and are in still in use today.
Ynysangharad Park Bowling Green
There are currently three home teams:
- Pontypridd Men Bowls team
- Ynysangharad Men Bowls team
Games take place throughout the season which starts in April and finishes in September.
Our facilities provide a high quality, well maintained leisure experience acknowledged by many. Other groups from outside of the area also hold championships here such as the South Wales & Monmouth Ladies Bowling Association.
