10 Things Kids Will Love At Big Welsh Bite

The Big Welsh Bite is back at Ynysangharad War Memorial Park in Pontypridd on August 3 and 4 and it is promising to be a great weekend for all.

The park is huge and there will be food and craft stalls and free entertainment, as well as a fairground (charges per ride/activity apply)


Parking in Rhondda Cynon Taf Council car parks costs £1 all day on a Saturday and is FREE on a Sunday. Plus you can walk to the park from the town’s train and bus stations.


Here’s 10 things your children will love at the Big Welsh Bite

1. Racing Llama


Watch in awe as the amazing Llamas show off their skills and show just how talented they are. Clap and cheer for your favourite as two llamas go head to head in the llama puissance to see which can jump the highest - you will be amazed! various times throughout the day, both days.

Watch as these ducks drive their sheepdog “trainer” quackers

Also known as free running, this is an excellent sport – be amazed by the live displays

One of the best stunt BMX squads in the country will be putting on a wheely great show for you

There will be over 40 food stalls at the event, selling everything from traditional hot dogs, burgers and doughnuts to incredible street food, spicy snacks, vegan and vegetarian delicacies and more
