Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough Council (RCTCBC) is developing a Flood Risk Management Communication Strategy and accompanying Action Plan to improve how we share information about flood risk and help communities prepare for, respond to, and recover from flooding. Your responses will help shape the Council’s future approach to communication and engaging with residents, businesses and communities about flood risk.

Childcare Sufficiency Assessment

The Welsh Government Childcare, Play & Early Years Division and local authorities are seeking feedback from families with children aged 0-17 to better understand childcare needs across Wales. The survey covers both registered childcare services (e.g. Care Inspectorate Wales) and unregistered services (e.g. nannies, au pairs and some activities and sports clubs). Findings from the survey will be included in reports published by Welsh Government and local authorities. However, local authorities cannot guarantee that all requests for childcare provision can be met. When completing the survey, please do not include any personal information such as names or details that could identify a child.

Recreational Cycling Routes Survey

The Council’s Leisure and Tourism teams are looking to review existing recreational cycling routes – and create supporting leaflets and guides – and wheely need your help! A new survey has been opened to secure public feedback on the kind of routes people would like to see presented in the leaflet. The Council would like to understand how people currently use the routes what works well for them and what they would like to see improved.
