Please be aware, alternative bus arrangements will be in place next week for a local resurfacing scheme at Gwaun Bedw in Cymer.
The road will close between the junctions with High Street and Bedw Street/St John’s Street – between 8am-4pm from August 14-21.
An alternative route for motorists is via High Street and Bedw Street – please see a map of the closure here.
Access will be maintained for emergency services and pedestrians, as well as to local premises.
During the closure, the Stagecoach 150 bus service (Porth-Gilfach Goch) will be unable to serve Gwaun Bedw.
It will instead operate via High Street (in the direction of Gilfach Goch) and Glynfach Road (in the direction of Porth).
Passengers should use the nearest stop at High Street when travelling in either direction, or at St John’s Church (in the direction of Porth only).
Service 150 will continue to operate the remainder of its route as normal.
