Housing Land Supply

The Welsh Government requires the Council as Local Planning Authority to “ensure that sufficient land is genuinely available or will become available to provide a 5-year supply of land for housing” (Planning Policy Wales, Edition 10, paragraph 4.2.15).

Annual reports are produced which monitor and assess the housing land supply in Rhondda Cynon Taf (excluding the Brecon Beacons National Park).
