Time:- 11:15 - 16:00
The day will commence with the unveiling of a new information board outside Tegfan Resource Centre, Aberdare, in recognition of its use during the First World War as a Military Hospital, staffed by Red Cross nurses.
We then have an EXCITING parachute jump @ 12:00 performed by the world-famous Red Devils, the British Army’s Parachute Regiment Display Team (WEATHER DEPENDENT), followed by the Raising of the Flag Service.
On site will also be a Fun Fair, various entertainment, a tank and much much more.
Admission to the event is FREE, for the safety and security of those attending, bags maybe searched as a condition of entry.
FREE parking will be available at Coleg y Cymoedd, Cwmdare Road, CF44 8ST, and at the Coliseum Theatre, Aberdare, CF44 8NG - both in close proximity Aberdare Park. Public transport links are good with local bus stops situated just a stone throw away from the main access points.
