Play Areas

Play areas are a vital part of a community and Rhondda Cynon Taf Council owns and maintains over 200 play areas across the County Borough. Since 2015 the Council has invested over £4.3M in refurbishing these sites for young people to enjoy. Local play areas are also owned and maintained by local Community Council's and other organisations.

You can find your nearest play area by using the below map. Council owned play areas are outlined and coloured in RED and those under community council ownership are outlined and coloured in dark GREY. If your local play area isn't listed, please let us know by emailing ParksCountryside@rctcbc.gov.uk and we can add it to the map.
