Join us for another fantastic Llantrisant Walk to help us build Y Bwythyn. The Pontyclun and District Fundraising Group invite you to join us for our third annual Llantrisant Walk to help us build Y Bwthyn. Macmillan and Cwm Taf UHA are building the new £7m specialisation care unit at the Royal Glamorgan Hospital in Llantrisant and we need your help to build it. Macmillan is contributing £5m towards the new unit and this will be our biggest investment in Wales.
To date, the Llantrisant Walk has raised more than £24,000 so join us, be part of something special and help us raise even more money this year. The Walk This year there are two routes available: 4 miles and 8 miles, both starting and finishing at lantrisant Leisure Centre. The route is wheelchair, pushchair and child friendly, ideal for new and experienced walkers and even the dog.
Registration opens from 9am at Llantrisant Leisure Centre and the walk starts from the centre at 11am for the 8 mile route and 11:30am for the 4 mile route. A bouncy castle, complimentary entertainment and light refreshments will be provided from 1pm. £10.00.
If you'd like to bring along the family for this year's Llantrisant Walk, under 12s can walk free. All under 12s must be registered on the day and accompanied by an adult at all times. Children will receive a medal for taking part in the Llantrisant Walk but we are unable to provide t-shirts.
