A direct cremation is when a person who dies is collected from their place of death and cremated without a funeral service or mourners present.
Direct cremations only take place once the necessary and legal paperwork has been completed.
You can arrange them direct with Rhondda Cynon Taf Council’s Bereavement Services team, who will help ensure the correct paperwork is completed, or with the support of a funeral director.
