If eligible (suitable) a Care and Support Plan will be produced. The Care and Support plan will detail how your child/children you care for will receive support to meet their needs.
Who might be part of that plan?
You, your child and family should be involved in developing the plan and what matters to you should be a big part of it. Others that are likely to be part of developing the plan include teachers, health visitors, psychologists and other support services involved in your child’s life. The kind of support that might be on the plan include, support establishing routines, one to one work with your child around issues such as school refusal or healthy relationships, or referrals for support from services. An example of support from services could be Women’s Aid.
