- If your child is not assessed as being eligible (suitable) but care and support needs are still identified, a transfer can be made to a locality team or Resilient Families.
- If your child is assessed as having care and support needs, we may identify that support can be provided via your own family network, or by signing posting to community-based services.
- Or we could offer short term intervention via the Enablement team. The Enablement service provides support for children aged 0-18 working alongside parents and carers to develop knowledge, understanding and strategies to support the challenges that they face.
Parents, siblings and carers are eligible (suitable) for a carers assessment. This can be incorporated into your child’s assessment or as a stand-alone assessment.
