The grant is designed to support childcare settings that are experiencing extreme financial hardship which without financial assistance may affect the provisions’ abilityo operate.
In order to apply for this grant, you must demonstrate that:
- Your setting is fully registered with the Care Inspectorate Wales (CIW) for the provision you provide You have been established for at least 6 months
- You are registered with the Family Information Service (FIS) and DEWIS.
- Your financial difficulties are such that if no financial assistance is provided it may impact on yourability to remain functional and may lead to closure of the provision.
- Proof that income is less than expenditure.
- Agree to ongoing support from the childcare team for a period of one year.
