Young Carers are children and young people under 18 who provide or intend to provide care for a sick or disabled parent, adult or sibling.
Young carers carry out significant caring and household tasks which can lead to limited opportunities, education problems, health and emotional difficulties.
As a young carer you are entitled to an assessment regardless of the amount of care provided to identify if you have needs for support or likely to have in the future.
