How it works
If you have to live in a property provided by your employer as part of the terms of your employment, but pay council tax in another property, you could receive a 50% discount on Council Tax bill.
Who it is for (eligibility)
You are eligible for a discount if you are living in a property provided by your employer as part of the terms of your employment and you also pay council tax at another property.
Apply
Before you start
You'll need proof that;
- you pay Council Tax at another property
- your employer has provided the property you are claiming a discount for
- your contract of employment requires you to live at the property
You must continue to pay your current Council Tax bill while the outcome of your application is decided.
