How it works
You need to register your address to start receiving collections.
Purple Incontinence bags are free and delivered straight to your door. Using purple bags allows you to dispose of your incontinence waste hygienically and helps you manage your black bag allowance.
Within 2 weeks of registering, we will email you your collection day and deliver your purple bags. Collections take place weekly from your usual waste and recycling point.
Your registration lasts for 3 years, but you can extend your collections if needed.
To put incontinence waste out for collection:
- Register for collections
- Check your incontinence waste collection day after registering as it may be different to your usual bin collection day.
- Put only used incontinence pads and wet wipes in your purple bag.
- Do not use black, clear recycling bags or any other bags not provided by us.
- Do not overfill your bag.
- Tie the top of your bag tightly.
- Put out as many purple bags as you need each collection day.
- Place your bag at your usual collection point by 7am.
If your bags are not put out for 4 weeks in a row, we will assume you no longer need the service and remove your address from collection round.

When you have incontinence waste to collect, register your address to receive collections. We will email you your collection day and deliver your purple bags within 2 weeks.
- Registration lasts for 3 years - you can extend your collections if needed.
- Applying early could mean that your removed from collections for not putting bags out for 4 weeks in a row.

Manage your collections
After your have registered you can report a missed collection, extend your existing collections, change your address or cancel your collections below.

If you have registered and your bags haven’t been collected by 3pm on your collection day, first check your incontinence waste collection day to see it has changed. If it hasn’t, report the missed collection.
