Thanks to the residents across Rhondda Cynon Taf we smashed the 70% Welsh Government Recycling Target and are continuously hitting over 74% every month!

To make sure we keep exceeding the target we are making recycling even EASIER in RCT as you can now recycle even more from home, with soft plastics being added to the Council's recycling collections and you can now put paper in with all your recyclables.

The change means that residents can place more items, including a range of *accepted soft plastics in their clear recycling bags alongside other dry recycling items, including paper, making it easier than ever to recycle more and waste less.

The move forms part of the Council's new "Recycling in RCT is Seriously Easy" campaign which celebrates the area's 70% recycling rate while encouraging residents to make the most of the services available to them.
