Consultation on the future of Community Day Centres

The Council’s Day Centres have provided an important opportunity for older people in our communities to access a hot meal and participate in a range of activities, however the centres are underutilised and the current service model is no longer sustainable.

We need to explore opportunities for alternative service delivery models, through our Community Hubs where appropriate or via existing voluntary organisations in the communities concerned.
